Why can't I read the poems or stories without registering?
There are two reasons, why you are requested to register to view poems and stories submitted to Today's Writing Community

Many publishers such as magazines, newspapers, etc consider work that has been posted on an open forum board, where it can be viewed by the general internet surfer to be already published. Therefore writer’s can not claim first rights to it and most of these magazines; newspapers etc will now not accept it for publication.

By some magazines Today's Writing Community is considered a workshop because poetry and stories submitted are not viewable by the general public.

Today's Writing Community supports artist freedom, therefore some of the poetry and stories submitted to us are of mature or adult theme. In order to prevent young eyes from being exposed to this, we require you to register.
