A friend...there are so many "degrees" of friends it is very hard to pinpoint. Someone who "has your back" no matter where you are or what situation you find yourself in, they support you and never condemn. Someone who knows how you think and can finish your sentences, knows what you're thinking without words. A person who knows your strengths as well as your weaknesses. Good friends are hard to find...

A friend is someone you can share your thoughts with him, without thinking of what you are going to say . If you saw him after so many years you feel that you were never apart and you can catch up with what was left behind.
A friend loves you as you are and always there for you. |

This poem I wrote on Friends last year says it all for me ...

Friends are so precious, each and every one
we laugh with them and cry with them,
and help them whenever we can,
we feel their pain, we share their grief,
we help them with their woes,
but when times just get too rough to bear,
we hold them while they weep.
We worry when they're away too long
we fuss like mother hens,
we build them up as they do us,
send courage back and forth,
we do our best to help them heal,
but when our words are not enough
we hold them while they weep.
Our precious friends, through good and bad
they touch our hearts each day,
with each success we cheer them on,
with every baby step they take,
we shout for joy, our hearts are light,
but when darkness overtakes their hope,
we hold them while they weep.
My friends, this poem reaches out to you
it carries my own little prayer,
that through life's sun and clouds and rain,
you hold within your hearts,
the knowledge that I love all of you,
and that when life has got you down,
I hold you while you weep. |
