Brunette girl with an impish grin,
And eyes the deepest blue----
With pen in hand I write of worlds
No other but myself have seen,
And lay awake in dreamland
While my lanky body sleeps.

* This is all I could come up with. LOL Hope its what you wanted Rose. Embarassed

The oldest of three,
Proud mother of two,
And giddy grandmother of one,
Of all I had to give thee,
Before my time was through,
Has only meant I'm never done.

Oh, I posted in the poems section - didn't realize we were to post them here..

The Me Syndrome

Deep water runs still, but rarely will I be found at rest,
Currents ebb and swirl in eddies at the edges of dark pools,
Ocean waves foam and spit, crashing on sunswept crest,
A spring-fed creek becomes this raging torrent of fools -
Where the riptide haunts the surf is where I do the best,
Sorting polished stones and glass to find priceless jewels.
