So, our Parody poetry contest isn't going over well. I have decided to cancel that one and host a new contest.
School is out, as is the sun, so let's celebrate summer with some fantastic poems.
Send us a poem that best describes your feelings of summer.
Submit it through normal submission to the contest category. You have until Aug 31st to submit.
Winner will receive a 20 dollar gift certificate from Barnes & Noble. 2nd place a $10 gift certificate 3rd place- A free upgrade to premium
2 submissions per member only.
You may not ask for reviews.
Winner will be determined based on comments and votes.
Staff makes the final decision.

Thank you to all that entered. Because we only received 3 entries the contest has been extended to August 31st to have a wider variety of entries to choose from. I hope those who did enter understand and will support my decision.

I have put of this contest in the hopes we would get more submissions. We only received 5 entries.
It is kind of difficult to fairly pick three winners with only five enteries so I have canceled the contest an awarded all that entered with a two month premium upgrade.
Sorry that we did not have more entries.

| Many thanks Rose... Funny though, I thought I saw a lot more than five "summer" poems posted... (?).. But I did not go back and try to count.. Anyway, much appreciated.. Now I can edit everything and take back the bad stuff!! LOL |
