I know I have not been to active as of lately on Today's Writing. I apologize for that, but please know I miss ya all and despite my being here you still have a constant presence in my life .
As you may or may not know Shawn and I are getting ready to relaunch todays-woman.net as a woman's portal catering to women.
You may or may not know that we have also been going through some medical things with our daughter and now we have a close family member that is going through major surgery on Thursday that will have us out of town for a few days.
I'd like to thank those of you who have message me or emailed me. Some of you I talk to more than my offline friends. lol You know who you are.
I’ve been fortunate enough to make some great friends here. It's nice to be part of a community who truly cares. _________________ Rose DesRochers - World Outside my Window

I can totally understand lol. Among writing, 2 jobs and family matters, I find time extremely tight atm. My mind is rarely where it needs to be to write poetry.
But as we know, free time and creativity often work in an ebb-and-flow pattern.
Best wishes to you and yours.
Peace. |

Rose - perfectly understandable.. sometimes we just must bite off more than (or absolutely as much as) we can chew.. Sometimes the right choice (rewarding) and sometimes denying us the time to smell the ....er flowers.. along the way, and leaves us wondering if it was worth it.
From what I saw of the other site, it seems an incredibly worthy endeavor, and stands to be a great benefit to a great many woman (and those who have to deal with them!!! LOL) if you can get the word out there broadly and get a lot of good participation. Can't figure out how you could deal with both these sites and ANY part of the rest of life, much less all the rest you do.
Very sorry about all you have to deal with on the medical front - just hang in - we are here to support you from the ether! Good luck with the surgery issue in the family too... my best vibes are being sent north from this blast furnace swamp they call Houston. ;)
Take care of yourself - burnout not permitted!
Yours truly,
JP |

Life is seldom organized. Some how we fit in either by cutting back or borrowing time from somewhere else. You know your family are in my prayers continually...... _________________ You Lord are the potter, I am but the clay
