I see at my Dad's nursing home, a poster posted from Poetry Institute of Canada having an open poetry contest, I would like to enter but not certain if it is a reputable contest and place or is it a sham like the poetry.com ? Anyone know the status on this Poetry Institute of Canada and its contests ?

Hello Jackie, The contest isn’t a real contest. It is a vanity publisher like The International Library of Poetry, once known online as Poetry. com.
