What a privilege and honor it is to write for the Christian market. I consider it to be an awesome responsibility. Christian writers have the opportunity to proclaim God's Word to millions of people all around the world. More than that, because the written word has the ability to survive generations, works created by Christian writers can even touch those not yet here.

If you have been called to begin a Christian writing ministry, you have received a task of great importance. You can make a difference in the lives of many people through your Christian writing. Christian writing can be very fulfilling, both personally and professionally. Not only will you be helping others get closer to Jesus Christ, you will also be developing a deeper relationship with Him for yourself.

Today's technology makes many outlets available for Christian writers to publish their work. You could create a blog and post inspirational messages. You could write a book that takes an in-depth look at a particular Bible story and make it available in digital format. You could even self-publish a print book (p-book) using a print on demand (POD) publishing service that readers could order from many of the major online booksellers. These are just a few of the many options available to Christian writers today.

If you have been called to start a Christian writing ministry, start today! Don't delay in your service to God. There could be someone in need who is waiting with great expectation for your words. The world needs to hear God's Word. Good Christian writing can help bridge the gap.
